Hinkson Creek Roofing is a roofing information site for Columbia, Boone County and the towns around them. Marketing Doctor LLC operates it.
Hinkson Creek Roofing connects mid Missouri homeowners with independent local roofing companies. This is not a roofing company. Nobody here inspects a roof, prices a job or signs a contract. The site answers the questions people have before they ring anybody, and the number on it reaches one independent roofing company working in this area. Everything after that, the inspection, the quote, the contract and the work, is between you and them.
The name
Hinkson Creek runs through Columbia, past the university and along the MKT trail, and eventually into Perche Creek and the Missouri. It floods, it gets studied, it gets cleaned up, and generations of people in this town have grown up crossing it without thinking about it. It is a Columbia name rather than a borrowed one.
How the site earns its keep
A roofing company pays to be the one this site sends calls to. That is the entire arrangement and it is worth being plain about it, because it tells you two useful things.
You are not being auctioned. A lot of roofing lead sites take your details and sell them to three or four contractors, which is why people who fill in one form spend the next fortnight fielding calls. That does not happen here. One site, one number, one company.
And the site has an incentive to be accurate. A roofing company that keeps receiving calls from people it cannot help does not renew.
